Land Rover Experience West Country, the Global Land Rover Experience Centre of the Year 2013, covers 135 acres of outstanding East Devon countryside, with 35 acres of challenging off-road course.

From the basics to becoming an expert…....

The aim Honiton Land Rover’s courses is to train users of all-terrain vehicles and associated equipment to a safe and professional standard.

In order to do this a wide range of driver aids are used with one of the latest being the addition of a pair of bespoke Monte Carlo 4 x 4 Training Mirrors to give the driver visual feedback on the task being attempted.

Groundworks

Honiton Land Rover were generous in providing the use of a JCB digger to help with the groundworks as a large amount of the bank had to be removed to get the footings in place for the large training mirrors.

The Equestrian Reflections team then set to work installing the uprights to carry the mirrors.

Once the uprights were in and the cross struts connected, the mirrors could be lifted into place

Alignment and Fine Tuning

The unique frame that Equestrian Reflections have designed and created allows for the mirror to be mounted without any warping, twisting or other effects which can completely spoil the reflection in the mirror.

The end result in this case were 2 optically perfect mirrors set at slightly different angles to show different approach and departure views on entering the water hazard.
